Anthony Ray Fermo

Anthony Ray Fermo, father, husband, brother, friend, and cherished member of his family, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. He was 55 years old. He is survived by his family, who share these memories of him.

Anthony was born on March 16, 1971, in San Bernardino, California. As a teenager he moved to Arlington, Washington. He attended Arlington High School where his love of sports emerged. Playing sports like football, baseball, and boxing, he took joy in nearly anything he could get his hands on. A competitive spirit and fondness for the games he loved fueled the enjoyment Anthony took while playing with his family and friends.

As one of the hardest workers we ever knew, Anthony always gave his everything to accomplish what he put his mind to. Known for being charismatic, lighthearted and always full of jokes, he was larger than life. The energy Anthony brought into any room was always impressive; he was usually the life of the party. His sense of humor and fun-loving personality made him a dear friend to many.

Above all, Anthony loved his family. He was a proud father to his two sons, Spencer and Scotty, and a loving stepfather to Alexander and Erica. He first married JoAnn Bradley, the mother of his twin boys, and later married Jennifer Acey. He passed as a single man.

Quick to help those in need and generous by nature, Anthony was known for his caring heart. Being around him meant feeling welcome, feeling valued. We'll remember his laughter, his kindness, his stories, and a personality that made everything around him a little brighter.

Cape Coral, Florida was Anthony's home in his final years. He passed in his swimming pool, a place where he liked to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the moment. With plans to retire in Spain and begin another chapter of his life, Anthony had no lack of dreams for his future. He was always thinking forward to the next thing. He didn't get the chance to see that dream through, but we'll remember him for the spirit that dreamed it up in the first place.

We loved Anthony deeply, and his life was full of family, friendship, hard work, sports, laughter, and more memories than we can count. For the rest of our days we will hold in our hearts a father, a family man, and a loyal friend.

Anthony Ray Fermo is gone and will be greatly missed, but the love, laughter and memories he bestowed on us will remain.
