Carl Ray Davis

Carl Ray Davis, 96, a resident of Fort Myers, Fl, passed away Saturday August 1, 2026. He was born on January 29, 1930, in Piggott, AR to parents Fred C. Davis and Loriene Marie Davis Scherbak, now deceased.

In 1954, Carl married the love of his life, Judith, and together they shared over 60 years of love and companionship.

Carl was an avid health-conscious gentleman and will be remembered for always being a sharp dressed classy man who was beyond giving, along with his selfless & kind nature.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Davis Phillips, his brother Fred Davis as well as his wife Judith Davis.

He is survived by his children, Carol Lynn Orischak (Anthony) of Midland, MI, Carla Purgiel (Chester) of Alpena, MI, Edward Davis (Julia) Fort Myers, FL, and Ray Davis of Fort Myers, FL; His sister Patsy Rollo (Joe) of Utica, MI; His eleven grandchildren; As well as his 19 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life to be held at a later date in Michigan.
