Carol Louise Young

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Carol Louise Young, 68, a resident of Fort Myers, FL, who passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Fort Myers, Fl. She was born on September 30, 1957, in Columbia, PA to parents Edward M. Bartch Jr and the Late Carol K. Bartch.

Carol was of the Christian faith. She loved the beach, loved her kids and grandkids, reading, loved learning new things, but most of all Carol had a love for the people around her. Between the many animals she's cared for over the years and the impact she made on the community of people around her, the memories and love she had given will be carried on and never forgotten. Carol worked for many years in IT at Harrisburg International Airport before

relocating to Fort Myers Florida where she worked for an insurance company. She will always be remembered for her dedication and strong work ethic, but mostly for the lives she has changed and the family she has raised.

She is survived by her three children Shawn Young (Mara) of Philippines, Toby Young (Monica) of Pennsylvania, Chadwic Young of Pennsylvania; Her siblings Edward "Ed" (Angie) Bartch of Pennsylvania, Margaret "Boot" (David) Fox of Pennsylvania; As well as her four grandchildren, RyLee Young, Malia Young, Preston Young, and Greyson Young.
