Caroline Purdon

Caroline Purdon, 63, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Cape Coral.

Caroline was born on February 25, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of the Catholic Church. She graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and went on to work for several accounting firms in Manhattan.

Caroline's greatest accomplishment and greatest joy in life was raising her two daughters, Lauren and Julia. She adored them and devoted herself completely to them, always showering them with love and affection. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved all of her nieces and nephews dearly.

Caroline loved being outdoors and enjoyed playing tennis and paddleball. She also loved boating, which was her favorite thing to do. She had a special love for dogs and was always drawn to their companionship and unconditional love. Whether she was spending time on the water, enjoying the outdoors, surrounded by family, or simply spending time with the dogs she loved, Caroline found happiness in the people, animals, and simple pleasures that brought joy to her life.

She also treasured her three best friends, Maureen, Mary, and Maryanne. Their friendship was a special and important part of Caroline's life, and the memories they shared will always be cherished.

Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Daniel; her two daughters, Lauren Purdon of Santa Cruz, California, and Julia Purdon of Victorville, California; her sister, Eva Espinosa of West Hartford, Connecticut; and her brother, Eugene Mirecki (Maura) of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Witold and Teresa Mirecki, and her brother, Anthony Mirecki.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mullins & Curtis Affordable Funerals and Cremations, 1056 Northeast 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, Florida
