Charles Lewis Switlick

Charles "Chuck" Lewis Switlick, 61, of Cape Coral, Florida passed Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born January 31, 1965, in Washington, DC.

Charles was of the Catholic faith. He was a man with a hardworking and generous spirit. He built a respected career as a master carpenter in Maryland and Florida, where his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to his trade left a lasting impression. Known as a true handyman, Chuck had a remarkable ability to fix or build almost anything, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kindness and willingness to "do anything for anyone" earned him the admiration and appreciation of family, friends, and all who knew him.

On December 21, 2001, Chuck married the love of his life, Susan. Together they shared a life centered on love, family, and creating meaningful memories. Chuck deeply enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially golfing and fishing, and cherished the times he spent doing both with his brothers. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, finding excitement and enjoyment in the sport he loved. In addition, Chuck was an avid and very competitive pool player, always bringing his passion and spirited determination to every game.

Chuck will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, his unwavering loyalty to his family, and his eagerness to help others. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched through his generosity, skill, and love.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; two children, Brittany Switlick and Kelsey Crum (Rob); one step-son, Nicholas Isoldi (Karen); five brothers, Steve Switlick (Marna), Mike Switlick (Diane), Alan Switlick, John Switlick, and Mark Switlick (Terri); one sister, Sharon Switlick; six grandchildren, Reed Isoldi, Miles Isoldi, Linc Crum, Wade Crum, Remi Crum, and Rowan Crum; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Geraldine Switlick.
