Cheryl Joanne Metcalfe

It is with great sorrow that we share the sad news that our sister, Cheryl Joanne Metcalfe, passed away in Cape Carol, Florida on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Cheryl was born in Oshawa, Ontario but spent most of her childhood in Windsor, Nova Scotia. At the age of 19, her sense of adventure took her to Toronto, Ontario where she met the love of her life, Wayne Metcalfe, they were married for 48 years. Their journey took them to the USA and they worked together in the Glass Business. They shared a love of Racehorses and enjoyed spending time at the racetrack. Their final adventure took them to Cape Coral, Florida where after many years of working they retired.

Cheryl is survived by her 5 siblings: Gerald (Jan) Linda (Bobby) Janice (Steven) Brenda Stacey (Neale).

She will also be missed by Wayne's children, Dana and Darren.

She was predeceased by her husband Wayne and her maternal parents William and Frances Fenton.

Special thanks to all of her close friends at her condo in Florida, especially Louise (Weezie) Gauthier.

Once cremation has taken place, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
