Christian Blanch

Christian C Blanch passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, due to sudden health complications.

Chris was born on February 27, 1958, to Claude and Rosemary Blanch in Georgia.

He married Pamela Jean White on November 14, 1981, in San Diego, California.

Chris was known for his deep and abiding love of Jesus Christ and his lifelong drive to explore the depths of wisdom and knowledge in the scriptures. He always kept a graph-paper notebook where he recorded and interpreted his dreams, wrote lyrics to hymns, penned journal entries, and delved into the mysteries of God. For over 20 years, he composed lyrics to hymns, filling self-published volumes with his rhythmic, God-praising poetry.

He was a voracious reader; whenever he became interested in a topic or author, he would seek out and read every original source book he could find. He did this with authors such as Emanuel Swedenborg, David R. Hawkins, Sadhu Sundar Singh, and Carl Jung.Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Blanch and Rosemary McMullin.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Blanch, two sons, Dane Blanch and Aiden (Katie) Doyle, five brothers, Kent Blanch, MO, Bruce (Donna) Blanch, MO, Dale (Connie) Blanch, TX, Russell (Tracy) Blanch, CO, Paul (Melinda) Blanch, UT, and one sister, Ann (Donnlee) Watson, UT.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the LDS Church, 20601 Three Oaks Pkwy, Estero, FL on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
