David "DJ" Jordan Meracle, 34, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born June 28, 1992, in Cape Coral, Florida.
DJ was of the Christian faith. He was a beloved son, brother, friend, uncle, and hardworking entrepreneur whose kindness, dedication, and easygoing nature touched the lives of many.
He was known for his love of fishing, working on his trucks, and his passion for anything with an engine. A talented mechanic, DJ had a natural ability to diagnose and repair just about anything. Whether he was under the hood of a vehicle or tackling a challenging repair, he took pride in his work and enjoyed helping others keep their vehicles running. His strong work ethic and determination led him to successfully own and operate his own lawn care company, serving his community with pride and dedication.
DJ also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing whenever he had the chance. He was very fond of his speaker system and loved playing his music loud, often filling the air with the songs he enjoyed most. His enthusiasm for life, his hobbies, and the simple things that brought him happiness were evident to everyone who knew him.
More than anything, DJ will be remembered for his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. Whether lending a hand with a repair, helping with a project, or simply being there for a friend, DJ never hesitated to put others before himself. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and friendship to those fortunate enough to know and love him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Mary A. Pac and David Q. Meracle, both of Cape Coral; paternal grandparents, Andrea Parsons of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Rev. Ralph "Skip" Meracle of West Allis, Wisconsin; aunts and uncles, Paul Pac of Alabama, Joseph Pac of Georgia, Darlene Pye (Terry) of North Fort Myers, Florida, Mike Pac (Vicki) of Cape Coral, Dan Meracle (Shelly) of Illinois, Eric Meracle (Tina) of Georgia, Betsy Williams of Tennessee, and Sarah Watson (Leon) of Tennessee; as well as his niece and nephew, Ally Quin Meracle and Dyson Shayd Meracle.
DJ was preceded in death by his brothers, Dakota Jamison and Dylan Meracle; grandfather, Eugene "Gene" Pac; grandmother, Sylvia Pac; grandfather, Bill Parsons; and his aunt, Karen Meracle.
