Denyse Leilani Chippas, 81, a resident of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Crestwood, IL, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was born on September 30, 1944 in Honolulu, HI to parents Richard and Ann Hobbs.
After graduating from Illinois State University, Dee became a high school math teacher. She later went on to earn a Master's Degree in computer programming. She enjoyed traveling to Jamaica with her "Golden Girls", listening to Neil Diamond, dancing the jitterbug, reading mystery novels, playing sudoku, drinking beers with neighbors, and playing cards with friends and family. Her outgoing personality and the ability to make everyone laugh will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Ronald, daughter Robin, son Jason, and grandchildren Ethan and Cayden.
