Donna J. Oakland

Donna J. Oakland, 61, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2013, formerly of East Providence, RI, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was born April 27, 1956 in Westerly, RI. Donna was a well-established nurse practitioner in Rhode Island for over 25 years until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of and nurturing others. She had a brilliant sense of humor and a compassionate heart for allpeople. Donna moved to FL to care for her husband's father in 2013. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in North Fort Myers, FL. She is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Oakland of Cape Coral; loving mother, Barbara Coon (George) of CT; two loving children, Hannah Oakland of Cape Coral and Jennifer Sedan (Joel) of Bristol, RI; a brother, Stephen Hutchins (Barbara) of Marion, TX; father in law, William A. Oakland of Cape Coral; as well as three grandchildren, Margot, Peter and Harrison of Bristol, RI. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in RI. Memorial Contributions in memory of Donna J.
