Elaine Kathleen "Kathy" Fisher, 78, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the faith that guided her throughout her life.
Elaine was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1948 to Martha and Anthony Skinkis. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, John G. Fisher, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage. Kathy dedicated much of her professional life to serving her country through her work with the federal government before enjoying a well-earned retirement.
A woman of deep faith, Elaine loved Jesus and lived her life with kindness and gratitude. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially sharing meals with family and friends. A true foodie at heart, she delighted in discovering new restaurants, trying new foods, and gathering around the table with those she loved. Elaine also had a passion for travel and adventure. She loved exploring the world and created countless memories through the many cruises she enjoyed over the years. Whether visiting new countries, experiencing different cultures, or simply watching the ocean from the deck of a ship, traveling brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Above all else, Elaine treasured her family. Some of her happiest moments were spent making memories with her great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought her endless happiness. She never missed an opportunity to share stories, offer encouragement, or simply enjoy time together with the people she loved most.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Fisher; her parents, Martha and Anthony Skinkis; and her brother, Joseph Skinkis.
She is lovingly survived by her granddaughter, Jasmine, wife of Tyrell Boyd; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Lamar, Steven, Layla, Sophia, and Marionna, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Elaine's legacy of faith, love, adventure, and devotion to family will continue to live on in all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her and is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.
