Henry Louis Rossi

Henry Louis (Nick) Rossi, 84, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born February 17, 1942, in Amsterdam, New York.

Hank attended Hudson Valley Community College and began his career with the American Locomotive Company (ALCO). He later joined IBM, where he dedicated 30 years of service before retiring. During his professional career, he also pursued his entrepreneurial spirit as the owner and operator of R&M Enterprises.

Hank will be remembered as a hardworking, determined man who valued family, friendship, and the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman throughout his life, he found great joy fishing in the Gulf of America and hunting in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. Whether casting a line on the water or spending time in the woods he loved, Hank appreciated the beauty of nature and the simple pleasures of life. His strong work ethic, generous spirit, and love for his family will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah J Morris of Cape Coral; son, Nicholas (Sandra) Rossi of Baltimore, MD; step-son Joseph (Melisa) Kavaky of Naples; step-daughter, Jennifer (Alan) Kavaky Alvarez of Mt Pleasant, SC; granddaughters, Regina Rossi of Baltimore, MD, Caitlyn Kavaky of Fort Myers, FL and Kiera Kavaky of Orlando, FL; brothers, Richard (Audry) Rossi of Delanson, NY; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Hank was preceded in death by is parents Louis and Anna Rossi.
