Jack Edward Wilson, 90, of North Fort Myers, a Lee county resident since 1979, formerly of Columbus, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. He was born on October 9, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles Wilson and Louise Vansamillette Wilson now deceased.

Jack graduated from Ohio State University and was a veteran of the US Army where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Jack worked for Pepsi Cola for 28 years in the area of product quality in the Technical Services Division; as a field engineer in the Central Division; and Area Manager in the Eastern Division; and as a Division Manager, Technical Services Division of Pepsi Cola. After retiring he was asked by Pepsi International to start up and manage the first Pepsi plant in China. After two years in China, Jack and Inie returned to Florida where he worked as a consultant for Pepsi Cola for several more years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Inez "Skip" Skipton Wilson, the love of his life, brother-in-law Charles P. Skipton and his wife Joyce, of Niceville, FL; Paul Ross brother-in-law of Cape Coral, FL, and 17 nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral, FL with Pastor Tom Hafer officiating.

Graveside Services in Columbus, Ohio will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at East Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
