James Dobczyk

James Joseph Dobczyk, age 68, passed away on January 21, 2026.

James is survived by his beloved son, Joseph Dobczyk, and Joseph's wife, Jennifer Hamel. He was a proud grandfather to Grace O'Brien, Nathan Jenco, Joseph O'Brien, and Nicholas Jenco, who brought him great joy.

James is now reunited with his parents, Leo Dobczyk and Lois Molitor; his daughter, Jennifer Dobczyk; and his siblings, all of whom preceded him in death.

Earlier in life, James was actively involved with the Lions Club, giving his time and energy to helping others in his community. He was a skilled carpenter and handyman, owning and operating his own business and serving the Fort Myers area with pride and dedication. Known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help, James took great satisfaction in working with his hands.

Beyond his work, James had a deep love for music, which was a constant source of comfort and enjoyment throughout his life.

He will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his generosity, and the love he held for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
