It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our belloved son Jason Lee LeBlanc, 40, of North Fort Myers, Florida on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 due to complications from his leukemia. Jason was born October 12, 1985 in Moncton, New Brunswick Canada.
Since his diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in 2018 Jason lived his life on his terms. He was best known to friends in Massachusetts as "Canada" and in Florida he was known as "Joker". Jason had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his mother and father Wayne and Barbara LeBlanc; children, Kayleigh, Logan, Kody, Jayce; mother of Logan (Francy) and Kody, Amanda Craig; Sister, Kristen McGraw (Cedric); Uncles, Bill Fraser (Charlene) and Shawn Leblanc; Aunt Cheryl LeBlanc; Grandmother Marie (Hudson) Fraser, Nieces Mia and Lexi McGraw; Cousins, Dohnavan, Daniel, David LeBlanc, Megan Touchon, Melissa Fraser; as well as his girlfriend, Megan Layow.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Fraser and Roger LeBlanc as well as his grandmother, JoAnne LeBlanc.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Gulf Coast Hospital Trauma Unit for the care, compassion and kindness they provided to Jason and his loved ones during a difficult time.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jason's love, courage and spirit will live on in the hearts of all knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
