John Michael Evans

August 27, 1976 — April 28, 2026

John Michael Evans, 49, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, following various health issues. He was born on August 27, 1976, in Fort Myers, Florida. There is comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is now walking upright on streets of gold, seeing his Savior and loved ones who went before him.

John was of the Christian faith. He was a man of strong belief who lived his life with a deep love for those closest to him. He had a lifelong passion for technology and enjoyed staying up to date with the latest advancements, often helping others who were not as tech-savvy.

John loved Disney and was a longtime passholder, making sure he could visit as often as possible. He enjoyed Star Wars movies and collecting Star Wars memorabilia. He also enjoyed relaxing and playing video games on his PS5. John followed the Marvel Comics series and was always ready for new movie releases.

Above all else, John's daughter was his world. Being a father was his greatest joy and most important role, and his love and dedication to her knew no bounds. He was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered for his loyalty and dry humor.

John will be deeply missed, but his love, memories, and the legacy he leaves behind will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa; mother, Patricia Evans; daughter, Aely Evans; two sisters, Debbie Brown (Steve) of Pennsylvania and Terry Burnett of California; two brothers, Don Harvey of Florida and Jim Harvey (Tammy) of Alabama; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Linton Evans, and two sisters, Lelou Miller and Robin Evans.
