Joseph J Bracciodieta

Joseph J Bracciodieta, 92, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born December 7, 1933, in Bronx, New York.

Joseph was of the Catholic faith and lived a long, full life rooted in family, service, and simple joys. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, an experience that shaped his discipline, resilience, and devotion to his country. Joseph later worked as a bus driver; a role he took pride in as it allowed him to serve his community and connect with people from all walks of life.

Joseph found joy in simple, meaningful moments—bowling with friends, enjoying classic western films, tackling crossword puzzles, and playing games on his computer. He especially loved horse racing and followed it with lifelong excitement and interest. Those who knew him will remember his warm humor, his devotion to family traditions, and the strong values that guided him throughout his life.

Joseph is survived by his eight children: Michael (Alina), Joseph (Dianne), Janis Davies, Glen (Beverly), Debra Logan (Robert), Randy (Camile), Cindy Hughes, and Tracy Scott (Wayne); his sisters, Rosalie Russo and Candy Simone; his brother, Russell; as well as 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Bracciodieta, and by his beloved wife, Norma, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th, beginning at 2:00 PM, with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Mullins & Curtis, 1056 NE 7th Ter, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
