Lawrence Marcum ‘Brian’ Brown, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL, and residing in Lee County, FL since 1997, formerly of Panama City, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born May 28, 1951 in San Franciso, CA to Lawrence and Carol Brown, now deceased.
Lawrence was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Brian loved music and was an accomplished musician playing guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and other instruments. Brian played in many local Irish/Celtic bands such as Murphy’s Law, Irish Cream, and Ha’Penny. Every St. Patrick’s Day he’d play and sing at bars, pubs, taverns, and even private parties. Brian was an ardent patron of the Naples Philharmonic. As Mr. Saturday Night, he would offer loud applause and a “You rock”!
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Ellen Brown; son, Brian Brown (Tulsi) of Orlando, FL; brothers, Timothy Brown (Donna) of Sunnyvale, CA, and Christopher Brown (Angela) of Sunnyvale, CA; brother-in-law, Daniel Shaneyfelt (Patricia) of Maricopa, AZ; as well as his beloved Blarney and Arthur.
