Linda Joyce Moore

Linda Joyce Moore, 85, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida for more than 50 years, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born on April 27, 1940 in Trimble, Tennessee, to parents Wilbur P. Crowder and Ethel L. Yarbrough, now deceased.

She is survived by her three children, Patti Adams (Ken) of Fort Myers, FL, Duane “Scott” Moore of Pinellas Park, FL, Steven Lee Moore (Judy) of Fort Myers, FL; Her brother Jim Crowder of Cape Coral, FL; Her eight grandchildren; As well as her thirteen Great-grandchildren.

Linda and her family moved to Florida as a young child. She had a tremendous gift and love for music. She attended The Butler School of Music in Sarasota in her early years. She was so talented, she taught piano lessons while still attending high school. She graduated from DeSoto High School in Arcadia in 1958. After starting her own family, they moved to Fort Myers in 1971 following her promotion to District Manager with AVON Cosmetics. She retired from AVON in 1998 after 27 years.

A few short months later, she decided to return to the workforce and began working in Human Resources for Lee Health for 15 years. She retired permanently in 2013.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life in her honor, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Mullins & Curtis Affordable Funerals and Cremations, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
