Luis Ricardo Pagan, 53, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born September 9, 1972, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He moved to the Cape Coral area in 2022 from New Haven, Connecticut.
Ricardo was of the Catholic faith. He worked for many years in customer service, always wanting to help people. Ricardo loved baking, dancing, gardening, spending time with his dogs and cats; but most of all, enjoying life. He enjoyed nothing more than spreading love and happiness to everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving husband, Scott Puschaver; two sisters, Yazmin Pagan and Jeanette Acevedo; one brother, Luis Enrique Pagan; as well as a very large and loving extended family.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Pagan and Juana "Annie" Nieves as well as his brother, Ariel Pagan.
Ricardo wanted to be a part of his own memorial service and was able to plan and fully enjoy his own Celebration of Life three weeks prior to his death. He was able to be surrounded by friends and family one final time before passing. It was his wish to not have any additional memorial after his death.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Luis Ricardo Pagan are suggested to the National Humane Society, or your local animal shelter.
