Paul Edward Finer

Paul Edward Finer, 81, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Fort Myers. He was born January 11, 1945, in Boston, MA.

Paul had a diverse career in business. Having graduated with a Masters’ Degree from Suffolk University, Paul went on to work for Raytheon Corporation and later found his natural forte in operations in both commercial manufacturing and defense industry. As a senior executive, nicknamed “boy wonder” his approach to business processes and performance allowed him to bring back failing companies to profitability. His leadership and professional skills led him to work not only on dual coasts of West and East in the United States, but also Great Britian, China, Switzerland and Turkey.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Finer; six children, Vincent Maiuri (spouse Kendra), Barbara Finer, Gail Blacklock (spouse James), David Finer (spouse Tam), Jessie Maiuri (spouse of Thomas Maiuri), and Robin Finer; eight grandchildren; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Shirley Finer, his sister Dorothy Krepon and his son Thomas Maiuri.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
