Robert Anthony Labiento

Robert Anthony LaBiento, 75, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Lake Grove, New York, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born on August 17, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York.

Robert was a man of Catholic faith who believed in the importance of family, hard work, and finding happiness in the simple things in life. He was a strong, loving, and hardworking man who dedicated his life to the people he loved. Robert had a wonderful sense of humor and loved joking around, making people laugh, and bringing a little lightness to even the simplest moments. His love was often shown through his actions, his willingness to help, and the time he gave to his family.

Robert was a devoted father to his two daughters, Lisa and Christine. His daughters were a very important part of his life, and he was always proud of them. He treasured the memories they shared and the time they spent together.

His greatest joy, however, was being a grandfather to his three grandchildren, Nicholas, Anna, and Mia, who were truly the light of his life. He absolutely adored them. Robert loved joking around with them, making them laugh, teasing them, and creating the kind of memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. He treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren and was happiest when they were together. Their smiles, laughter, and time spent with Grandpa meant more to him than words could ever express.

A talented craftsman, Robert had a passion for woodworking and creating things with his hands. He took great pride in building, repairing, and working on projects. He had an appreciation for quality craftsmanship and enjoyed seeing something come together through his own hard work.

In his free time, Robert enjoyed reading, playing the guitar, listening to music, and spending time outdoors in the warm weather. He found happiness in the simple things-good music, being outside, working with his hands, sharing a laugh, and most importantly, spending time with the people he loved.

Robert is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa and Christine; his beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Anna, and Mia; his sons-in-law, Rich and Corey; his mother, Evelyn; his sisters, Maryann and Teresa; his brothers, John, Anthony, Christopher, Michael, Larry, and Frank; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Attilio Mario LaBiento, and his brother, Paul LaBiento.

Robert's greatest legacy will not be the things he built with his hands, but the love, laughter, and memories he created with his family. His jokes, his stories, his laughter, and his unmistakable way of making those around him smile will be deeply missed.

Although he is no longer here with us, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends. Every laugh, every family gathering, every song, and every story about Grandpa will keep his memory alive.

Rest peacefully, Dad and Grandpa. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry you in our hearts forever.
