Ronnie Gene Pickett

Ronnie Gene Pickett, age 79, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2026.

Born on May 27, 1946, in Paragould, Arkansas, Ronnie was the son of the late Albert and June Pickett. He dedicated 42 years of his professional life to General Motors, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment. Ronnie also proudly served in the Michigan National Guard.

Ronnie was a kind and hardworking man with a good sense of humor. He was deeply trustworthy and dependable—someone family and friends could always count on. He cherished time spent traveling and being with those he loved most, especially his family and close friends. His life reflected quiet faith, integrity, and devotion to others.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Yawei Bao; his sons, Mark (Sarah) Pickett, Brett Pickett, and Scott (Ramiz Kseri) Pickett; and his five grandchildren, Hannah, Audun, Gabriel, Griffin, and Bela. He is also survived by his brothers, Terry Pickett and Tim Pickett. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Denise Pickett, and brother, Larry Pickett, and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held in Michigan at a time and place to be determined.

Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will remain a blessing to his family.
