Rosemary Neva Chetney

Rosemary Neva Chetney, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born on August 21, 1961, in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was known for her kind heart, bright smile, unwavering love for her family, and her generous spirit. Rosemary enjoyed reading books, watching TV and movies, spending time with those she loved most and created countless cherished memories with family and friends throughout her life. In 2016, she and her husband relocated from Brick, New Jersey, to Cape Coral, Florida, where she continued to build a life filled with love, laughter, and friendship. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, compassion, fun loving nature and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Chetney Sr.; two children, Thomas Chetney Jr. and Grace Chetney ; two brothers, Louis Formato and Mario Formato

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Grace Formato.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM, with services beginning at 6:30 PM, at Mullins & Curtis Affordable Funerals and Cremations - Fort Myers, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
