Ruth Elizabeth Lewis, 88, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2013, formerly of Gainesville, FL, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Shell Point, Larsen Pavilion in Fort Myers, FL. She was born August 28, 1932 in South Miami, FL to Alva and Lela Gresham, now deceased.
Ruth was of the Protestant faith. She was a bookkeeper and manager for most of her life and was known to her friends and family as a lady with a great since of humor and love of family.
She is survived by three loving children, Alva L. Lewis (Barbara) of Valdosta, GA, Brian K. Lewis (Connie) of Cape Coral, and Kevin L. Lewis (Teresa) of White River Junction, VT; brother, Dr. Jack L. Gresham (Moena) of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Kristopher, and Katrina; as well as six great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Lewis in 2016; as well as a son, Kenneth R. Lewis, Jr. in 1986.
No formal services are planned at this time.
