Sallie Jane Meehan

Sallie Jane Meehan, 65, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Cape Coral. She was born May 29, 1961, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Sallie was of the Christian faith. She was a shopper and lover of a good deal so if she met anyone that needed something she had it to give. She was great with numbers, loved to be silly and goofy.

She made her home in Florida for the past 21 years, where she embraced the sunshine and coastal lifestyle she loved so much. Sallie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life-laying on the beach, shopping, listening to music, and striking up a conversation with just about anyone she met. She had a warm, outgoing spirit and a gift for making others feel welcome and valued.

Above all, Sallie cherished her family. She was a devoted and loving mother and took immense pride in her daughter and found great happiness in watching her family grow. She treasured every moment spent with her grandson Tyler, and lovingly considered Walker and Jasper as her grandchildren at heart. Sallie deeply enjoyed gathering with friends and family, and her kindness, laughter, and vibrant personality will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan Kohn and Danny Kohn as well as her grandson, Tyler Kohn.

Sallie was preceded in death by her husband Joesph Meehan Sr. as well as her parents, Edward and Margaret Kowalski.

A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2026 at 1:00pm, 2244 Ashley Crossing Drive, Charleston, SC 29414
