Scott Christopher Myers

Apr 4, 1972 — Aug 23, 2026

Scott Christopher Myers, 54, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Cape Coral. He was born April 4, 1972, in Terra Haute, Indiana.

Scott was a man who loved deeply, lived life on his own terms, and rarely met a fishing pole, a good story, or an opportunity to give someone a hard time that he could pass up. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, and a man of strong Christian faith.

Those who knew Scott knew that he had a kind heart, a stubborn streak, a great sense of humor, and a way of making life a little more interesting simply by being in the room. He loved to laugh, loved to make others laugh, and was never afraid to say exactly what was on his mind.

Scott's greatest pride and joy was his family. He cherished his wife, Jennifer, his children, his stepchildren, his parents, and his friends. He took tremendous pride in his children and loved watching them grow into adulthood. No matter how old they became, he was still their dad-and he was always going to have an opinion, whether they asked for it or not.

Scott loved spending time with the people he cared about. Some of his happiest moments were the simple ones: cooking out, being outside, fishing, enjoying good company, telling stories, and making memories. He loved the outdoors and could happily spend hours fishing, even if the fish weren't particularly cooperative. For Scott, it was never just about catching the fish; it was about being outside, enjoying the moment, and having a story to tell afterward.

Scott had a way of leaving an impression on people. He was loyal, trustworthy, protective, generous, and fiercely devoted to the people he loved. He wasn't perfect-but he was authentically Scott. Those who loved him knew exactly what that meant, and they wouldn't have changed him for the world.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Myers of Cape Coral, Florida; his parents, Charles and Carol Myers of Terre Haute, Indiana; his three children, Cody Myers of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Eric Myers of North Fort Myers, Florida; and Eann Myers of North Fort Myers,

Florida; his stepchildren, Bryce Hill of Knoxville, Tennessee; Sara Wilson of Lenoir City, Tennessee; and Bella Hill of Cape Coral, Florida; and his two dogs, Princess and Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy Myers.

Scott leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind stories that will be told over and over, laughter that will be remembered, lessons that will be carried forward, and a whole lot of people who will probably continue to hear his voice in their heads telling them how they should have done something differently.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his love, his humor, his stubbornness, his stories, and his unmistakable way of being Scott will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.
