Theodore (Ted) Ronald Csaszar, Jr., beloved husband, son, brother, father, and friend, entered into eternal peace on Resurrection Monday, April 6, 2026 at 12:51 p.m.
Ted was a man full of life, depth, and unwavering strength. From an early age, he was a deep thinker—one who questioned, sought truth, and pursued knowledge with passion. He was a seeker, always looking beyond the surface, and many looked up to him for his insight, resilience, and wisdom.
He was dedicated, driven, and disciplined. As a young man, Ted was an accomplished wrestler, becoming a three-time national champion—an achievement that reflected not only his athletic ability but the character, perseverance, and inner strength that defined his life.
Ted was also incredibly intelligent, with a sharp and curious mind. His natural abilities, combined with determination, allowed him to overcome obstacles and continue moving forward with purpose.
Though life brought its share of challenges, Ted met them with quiet strength and resilience. He carried a deep love for his family and never lost his desire to connect, to give, and to love fully.
Ted went on to build a remarkable career as a master craftsman in custom cabinetry and interior design. His gifted hands and creative vision can be seen in high-end homes throughout Florida, including Fisher Island, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, as well as in luxury yachts in both Florida and Bayou La Batre, Alabama. He was not only talented but a true leader—respected and admired by those he worked alongside. Ted had a unique way with people, making others feel seen, valued, and inspired.
He was a generous man who freely gave of his time, talents, and resources. His contributions to his church, St. Jerome in Fort Lauderdale, were recognized with gratitude, reflecting his servant’s heart and deep faith.
Ted will be remembered not only for his strength and accomplishments, but for his incredible wit and unmistakable sense of humor. He was a natural storyteller and had a gift for making people laugh. Many will forever cherish the funny stories he shared—especially those about his childhood and the mischievous boy he once was. His humor brought joy, lightness, and connection to all who knew him.
Ted had an adventurous spirit and a deep appreciation for life’s simple and meaningful moments. He loved the mountains, spending much of his youth in the Pocono Mountains, where he found peace and tranquility. That love stayed with him throughout his life.
He enjoyed fishing—though he would often laugh that he didn’t care much to eat the fish—and had a passion for riding motorcycles. He and his beloved wife, Linda, shared many special rides together, creating lasting memories along the way. Ted also loved to travel, especially throughout Europe, embracing new places and experiences.
He was gifted with a beautiful tenor voice and sang in the choir at St. Jerome Church in Fort Lauderdale. Through this, he was blessed with the opportunity to sing at the Vatican in Rome—an experience that reflected both his talent and his deep faith.
Ted also found peace in music, especially Elvis gospel songs, often listening and singing along—moments that brought him comfort, joy, and a sense of closeness to God.
Above all, Ted was a man of God. His faith was his foundation, guiding his life and his love. He shared a deep and abiding faith with his beloved wife, Linda, which became the cornerstone of their marriage.
Ted is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Csaszar (Wypasek); his mother, Mary (Kerbacher) Csaszar; his son, Theodore Ronald Csaszar III; his daughter, Gina Csaszar; and his granddaughter, Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Ronald Csaszar, Sr; his father-in-law, Stanley J Wypasek; his mother-in-law, Margaret Wypasek (Koelliker); and his brother-in-law, Richard Wypasek.
He is also survived by his sister, Michele Santoro; his brother, Mark Csaszar (Cyndi); his brothers-in-law, Robert Wypasek (Jennifer) and John Wypasek (Robin); and many beloved nieces and nephews: Ethan Csaszar (Martha), Lucas Csaszar (Debra), Cain Csaszar, Seth Csaszar (Cassidy), Tierney Mattix (Trent), Rachel Wypasek, Anthony Santoro, Robert Wypasek (Rebecca), Aaron Csaszar, Daniel Wypasek (Jessica), and Ryan Wypasek, along with many great-nieces and nephews.
Ted was the love of Linda’s life—her heart, her strength, and her greatest blessing. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, faith, and a bond that only grew stronger with time. Though his passing leaves a profound absence, his love remains ever-present.
Ted entered eternal rest just after the celebration of our Lord’s resurrection—a moment that reflects the faith he lived by. He is now welcomed into the arms of Jesus with the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Free from pain and suffering, he is at peace.
He will be remembered always, carried in the hearts of those who loved him, and never forgotten.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919.
This date holds special significance, as it marks what would have been Ted and Linda’s 29th wedding anniversary—a beautiful reflection of the enduring love they shared, and a reminder that love lives on beyond this life.
A Celebration of Life will follow the Mass. Those attending are warmly invited to share their favorite memories and stories of Ted.
