William Robert Rainey

William Robert Rainey "Bob" passed away peacefully on Friday June 12th at the age of 72, while in the care of Hope Hospice, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born in Scotland July 29, 1953. He came to America by boat with his parents Harvey and Jean Rainey, when he was six weeks old. He worked in information technology for most of his life. Bob was a true family man who lived a full and meaningful life. He loved to travel, enjoyed playing tennis and later became an avid pickleball player. Bob loved God and was a valued member of his church family.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years Kathy; his children Kelli, Josh and Kim; his grandchildren Connor "Nadia", Braeden, Alora and Morgan; his great grandchild Blake; his mother Jean Rainey and his sisters Linda, Donna "Ron", and Debbie "Mike"

He was proceeded in death by his father William Harvey Rainey and son Kevin.

Florida visitation will be held on Monday July 13th from 10:00-11:00, with a celebration of life service beginning at 11:00 at Faith Presbyterian Church; 4544 Coronado Parkway; Cape Coral, Fl 33904.

Delaware visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 on August 24th , with a celebration of life service beginning at 11:00 at McCreary Funeral Home 3924 Concord Pike; Wilmington, De 19803

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
